The Book Group members at Sun City Lincoln Hills had the opportunity to enjoy a presentation by Author Denise Lee Branco regarding her book, “Horse at the Corner Post”. All of the ladies enjoyed her sentimental review of past experiences with her dear horse, Freedom. In addition to her delightful talk, Denise gave a PowerPoint slide presentation, connecting all of us with her memories and search for her horse.

Ms. Branco inspired Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students with her superb presentation of her journey with Freedom Sky. The process of telling their story demonstrated the importance and power of the written word. The students listened intently and asked pertinent questions. We are looking forward to her next visit when she finishes her book about her rabbit, Chloe, and hope she writes even more stories.
